Mr. Edgar Allen Myers of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Knopp Nursing & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg on Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at the age of 89 years. He was born July 10th, 1921 in Toms Brook, Virginia, the son of John A. Myers and Mary Virginia Shank Myers. Married Jean L. Billen on July 18th, 1946 in Yuma, Arizona. Served in U.S. Navy and retired from there.

Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean, and a sister, Anna Lee Wilson Mr. Myers is survived by a sister, Mary Ellen Showalter of Toms Brook, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Myers’s body will be shipped to Harrisville, Virginia for Graveside services and interment in the St. John’s Cemetery section of the Harrisville Cemetery.
