Anna Clara Finney Rankin was born on October 3, 1912 in Medina, Texas. She passed away on July 15, 2010 after a long and wonderful life and was surrounded by loved ones.

She is survived by a son Jerry Rankin and his wife Belinda Four Grandchildren: Devina Rankin, Christina Rankin, Bryan and Lyda Morris, Shantelle and Aaron, Great Grandchildren: Kevin Rankin-Perkins and Chelsea. Brother Mike Finney several nieces and nephews and lots of friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents Mike Judge Finney and Myrtle Mahotoh Vaughan Finney, her loving husband Claude Allen Rankin, Daughter: Francis Ann Hale and son John Michael Hale.

Anna came into this world with a great love of the outdoors. She lived throughout Texas, the Panhandle, the hill country, San Antonio, New Berlin, Lake Travis, Comfort and finally in Schertz. Her love of hunting was only out done by her love and countless fishing stories. One of her last wishes was that her son take her fishing one more time. Her memory will be cherished by her loving family.

Funeral Services for Anna Clara Rankin will be held on Monday, July 19th at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Comfort with Minister Ray Weeks officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow immediately in the Oak Rest Cemetery, Medina, Texas

Visitation for Anna Clara Rankin will be held on Sunday, July 18th from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Comfort
