Richard "Rick" Bruce De Loof

Rick De Loof was born January 7th, 1954 in Poughkeepsie, New York, the son of Richard Milton De Loof and Grace Tresa Marx De Loof, and his mother, Grace survives him and lives in Fredericksburg.

Rick served in the United States Navy, was a Texas Fire Fighter and past member of the Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department, at his demise he worked for Menard County Sheriff Department as a Dispatcher and Jailer.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Ronald and his wife Helen De Loof.

Rick is also survived by the following, his wife, Kathy De Loof of Menard, Two sons & spouses, Stanley & Katherine De Loof of Fredericksburg, Steven & Amber De Loof of Hancock, Maryland, Step children, Jason Guerrero of Brownwood, Texas, Jennifer & spouse, Tony Guerrero of Grand Prairie, Texas, Alex Ward of Spencer, Iowa, Four grandchildren, four step grandchildren, by a brother & spouse, Robert A. & Mary De Loof of Tuttle, Oklahoma

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2010, at 10:00 A. M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, with Deacon Patrick Klein officiating.

Graveside services with Entombment will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Fredericksburg.

Military honors will be accorded at the Cemetery

Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in his memory to the Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Dept, The Manor in Menard, Texas, or to the charity of their choice.

The family will greet friend at St. Mary’s Church prior to the Memorial services on Saturday morning.
