Beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend, William Carlyle McLeod passed away June 21, 2010 at his home in Blanco County. He was born July 9, 1938 in Houston, Texas to William Alonzo and Audrey B. Wade McLeod.

He leaves behind wife Grace, daughter Stacey Greene and son in law Jim, daughter Kelli Garnhum and son in law Marc, daughters Nancy Oncken and Cathy Franks. He is also survived by his grandchildren Shelby and Sarah Garnhum, Vanessa and Natalie Garnhum, Haley Chilivetis, Sam Oncken, and Brittney and Cole Greene. His sister Bobbie Jo Stavinoha and brother and sister in law Dr. Lonnie and Leah McLeod also survive.

Predeceasing him were his father, his mother and step-father Audrey and Bob Zogg, brother Mark McLeod and sister Charlotte Vila.

He graduated from Milby High School in 1957 and attended college one year. He served in the Air Force Reserve from 1960 to 1966 attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. After four years as a safe service representative for Mosler Safe Company he spent the next 30 years as a lab technician and occupational health specialist with DuPont in LaPorte, Texas.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
